The Tourist Centre Isola Verde lies in the heart of Abruzzo in the river Sangro Valley. The still untouched valley is the natural route linking the Adriatic Sea to the National Park of Abruzzo.
The vegetation and the landscape gradually change when sloping down from the mountains to the sea. In the middle of the valley the Sangro River, because of a dam, forms the Bomba lake. Woods, hills, rivers and mountains wonderfully frame the lake. The beauty of the area and its good cuisine make the Val di Sangro an attractive tourist centre, an excellent substitute to the typical seaside or mountain-holydays.
The Tourist Centre of Isola Verde offers many different services meeting any need. The campsite lying on terraces over the lake, has 50 tent and caravan camping places. Comfortable cottages with 4/5 beds are available, too.. The Hostel with 28 beds is the cheap alternative for young people. You can find all services for a pleasant stay: bar, restaurant, video-pub, a wonderful swimming pool with discothèque, Theatre for a dancing evenings, concerts and shows. People who love nature can go for guided excursions, boat-trips on the lake or walks and rides along the sweet paths and the ancient sheep-tracks. Among the sports guests can practice: fishing, riding, mountain bike rides, tennis, etc. Isola Verde is: a campsite with 50 places for tents and caravan - Cottage: 4/5 beds - Restaurant - Discothèque - Pizzeria - Mini market - Swimming pool - Park.
