Opi (1.250 m. above sea level) is on the mountains of the National Park of Abruzzo. The valleys and mounts surrounding this village are some of the most beautiful in the Park, highly recommended for trips suitable for everybody. Several other sports can be practised as well, from canoeing to windsurfing and horse riding; in the nearby mountain resorts, cross-country skiing and ski touring are available, too.
Opi is also a pleasant holiday resort for families looking for a rest from a chaotic urban life.
This is the best place for natural world lovers: they can enjoy very interesting trips on foot, skiing or horseback through the paths of the Park. Le Foci campsite lies just outside the built-up area of Opi, at an altitude of 1.200 m., wonderfully framed by natural beauties.
Open all-year-round, the campsite covers an area of 30.000 sq. m. with about 80 pitches for tents and 130 parks for caravan, all with electric connection. Moreover, it is equipped with a bar, a supermarket and a meeting-room with TV set. Hot dishes from local cuisine are available on demand.
Its friendly and charming genuine atmosphere is ideal to discover the most enchanting spots of the park or practise winter sports. A green and peaceful oasis cheered by the sound of cowbells and by the company of watchful chamois at sunset. On peak season: professional entertainment, dancing nights, etc.
