The litoral where the camping Il Sole is situated, near Grosseto, is one of the most beautiful in Italy, with its still in contaminated large beaches and savage nature in the nearby Maremman Natural Park.
The inland offers a number of historical and prehistorical villages: Etruscan, Roman and medieval, such as Roselle, Vetulonia, Pitigliano and Sorano; the Mediterranean coast itself offers magnificent isles: Giglio, Elba and Giannutri which can all be visited with daily excursions organized by the Camping. All tends and caravans are perfectly placed in the nature, shaded by beautiful pine trees. It is possible to rent completely equipped caravans of 3 to 5 places. The Camping has a landing stage for boats, situated directly on the seaside; and a wide parking where it is possible to leave caravans during the winter.
