The 'Falcone' campsite was built in 1997 on a hill standing approx. 520 metres above sea level and offers a breathtaking view over the lakes of Corbara and Alviano, nestling in the green of the oaks, ilexes and olive trees and it enjoys a peaceful surrounding.
The name comes from an old hunting site where falconry was practised in medieval times.
The pictures of this web site, give you an idea of the beauty of the incontaminated nature and the surrounding landscape. The lime kiln and a stable for mules used for the transport of wood down to the valley are also witnesses to this antiquity. It is equipped with 40 tent sites (from 40 to 100 m2), each one fitted with lights and drinking water. Nearby, there are new and wide baths and showers with free hot water. There are two stone bungalows with 4 beds bathroom and kitchen. In addition, the campsite has a bar, a market, games and sitting room, ping pong and there are many restaurants round about. Since 2004 the campsite also includes a nice and original swimming pool (11 m x 6 m). Adjacent to it, there is a sports centre is equipped with swimming-pools, tennis-courts, bowling-green and football-pitch.
