Camping Village Punta Navaccia lies along the shores of the Natural Park of Lake Trasimeno between Umbria and Tuscany, in the middle of a peninsula among nature, relax and comfort.
Punta Navaccia covers 70,000 square metres, with large shady places with lake view, 2 swimming pools for adults and children, mobilhomes, mobilhomes for disabled people, Safari Lodge tents and Coco Tents, a small harbor with moorings for 200 boats, a large covered amphitheater for evening shows, maxi-screen, international entertainment, fitness club, Miniclub, playground, disco, tennis, basketball, beach volley, football, table tennis, Dragon Boat trips, use of beach umbrellas and sunbeds at the lake front, landing stages and floating platforms, camper service, adventure park for children, barbecue areas for common use, automatic petrol station for boats, a slipway and a crane for boats, a bar, supermarket, restaurant and pizzeria, free WIFI (100% coverage) and dogs for free.
Every year at the end of July the famous “Piero Migliorati” Swimming Marathon takes place from Isola Maggiore to the Camping piers with numerous participants.
The campsite overlooks a long, wide lakefront with landing stages and floating platforms and inflatable water games and the nearby sandy beach has facilities for windsurfing, kite-surfing, sailing, canoeing, sup, wakeboard, water ski and special reductions are offered to the campsite guests.
We have 4 types of mobilhomes: STANDARD, SUPERIOR, DELUXE, SUPER DELUXE and SUPER DELUXE accessible with a ramp for wheelchairs which are fully equipped with wooden verandas, for up to 6 people (4+2) are ± 40 m2 with 1 double room, 1 room with 2/3 single beds, 1 living room with sofa-bed and kitchen, WC, shower, heating, SAT-TV, air conditioning and garden furniture.
THE SAFARI LODGE TENTS with lake view are up to 4 people, ± 40 mq, with wooden veranda, with 1 double room with canopy bed, 1 room with bunk bed, a living room with kitchen, WC and shower and garden furniture.
THE COCO TENTS with lake view are up to 4 people, ± 25 mq, with veranda, with 1 double room, 1 room with 2 single beds, 1 living room with kitchen and garden furniture.
THE MINI SAFARI up to 2 persons, ± 10 m2, with a wooden terrace and 1 bedroom, with cooking facilities and close to the toilets of the camping.
The convenient location of the campground makes it easy to reach towns of great artistic and historic interest, such as Assisi, Perugia, Rome, Florence, Siena, Arezzo, Orvieto etc., not to mention Tuoro sul Trasimeno itself, the site of the famous battle between the Romans and the Carthaginians in 217 BC, where today one can retrace the various stages of the battle.
From the camping there is a large variety of naturalistic itineraries by bike, foot or by horse and wine and olive oil tasting tours.
